Interim Social Work Manager Needed in California Healthcare System


The Position

  • An Interim Social Work Manager is needed to oversee social work operations, specifically within the oncology unit.
  • This role will report directly to the Director of Social Work and oversee around 30 FTEs.
  • The Interim Manager will focus on maintaining a cohesive team during the current leadership gap, participating in leadership meetings, and contributing to growth planning for the department.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least two to five years of social work leadership experience within oncology settings. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient oncology environments is highly preferred.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • LCSW required.
  • Previous healthcare experience required.

Pay Details

  • Pay Range: $150,000 - $170,000 annually.
  • Final pay rate is dependent upon experience, education, training, and location.
