The Position

  • The Chief Executive Officer will report to and work in close partnership with the Board of Trustees to provide operational leadership for Henry County Medical Center, including oversight for a team of senior management leaders.
  • Seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who can serve as a change catalyst and foster a culture of excellence for the organization.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Board of Trustees, including attending all meetings and submitting monthly reports to show the medical center’s professional service and financial activities.
  • Responsible for budget preparation, maintaining the hospital’s personnel policies and practices, supervising all business affairs, and executing all contracts for and on behalf of the Board of Trustees.
  • Serve as a liaison to medical staff and bring together medical center leadership and teams to optimize patient care.
  • Must bring 5+ years of senior leadership experience in a hospital setting and a strong background in physician relations and hospital financial management.
  • Advanced certification or degree in healthcare administration required.

  • The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and is comprised of 142-beds that provide residential care alongside a Plumley Rehabilitation Unit. Additionally, it contains an Emergency Medical Service, an off-site Center for Wellness & Rehabilitation, a Home Health and Hospice service, along with a variety of outpatient services and inpatient care that serve Henry and the surrounding counties.
