Leadership for 18 FTEs as New Interim Director

The Position

  • The Interim Director of Surgical Services will provide leadership for a hospital’s Surgical Services department that includes pre-admission testing, PACU, OR, central sterile, and ambulatory services.
  • Oversight for 18 FTEs.
  • Conduct an assessment and identify strategies around department culture, staffing, and implementing key metrics, such as block utilization, productivity, and objectives.
  • Must be comfortable with hands-on patient care if occasionally needed.
  • Seeking a leader with 5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital Surgical Department, preferably in a small to medium sized hospital.
  • BSN and active New Hampshire or Compact RN license required.

  • The client will also provide you with a rental car, as well as lodging that is clean, safe and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
