The Position

• The Program Director for Infection Prevention for Mather Hospital will report to the Vice President of Quality Management and oversees all activities/initiatives related to infection prevention & control
• Establish goals and planning centered on evidence-based practices that will minimize the spread of infection and comply with regulatory standards of proper sterilization, hygiene and disinfection
• Focus on partnering with physicians, serving as a visible resource to clinical staff and providing on-call support in the event infection control issues arise
• Master's degree required; Must have either a BSN or MSN degree to be considered
• 5+ years of Infection Prevention leadership experience in a healthcare/hospital setting required
• CBIC, CIC or similar certification preferred
