The Position

  • The Interim Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of the Surgical Services within a 248 bed Magnet Community Hospital.
  • This leader will be expected to assess staffing levels and produce a plan that is in line with the organization's financial goals. This leader will also be required to mentor new management staff. 
  • The ideal candidate will have previous surgical and magnet experience, with a minimum of five years management experience. They should have outstanding communication and listening skills. be capable of identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and have a passion for mentoring new leaders. 


  • Master's degree required. 
  • Must be available to start within two-three weeks of acceptance.
