The Position

  • The Director of Cancer and Infusion directs and oversees the quality, operations, and regulatory compliance in multiple diverse clinical areas of the Cancer Center and Infusion Services for Yavapai Regional Medical Center.  
  • Seeking a strategic leader to initially oversee approximately 20 FTEs within a 12-chair IV Infusion Clinic, and an 8-chair Outpatient Services Clinic to ensure a presence of strong leadership that will provide direction for all Oncology staff members. 
  • This leader will be essential as the facility expands through the building of a new 40,000 square ft. Cancer Center and will provide schematic and design leadership and direction as the construction begins. This leader will be intimately involved in building out the team to approximately 50-70 FTEs to ensure appropriate level of staff in order to provide the optimal patient care.  
  • The Director will focus on improved development and growth of the oncology program, through ensuring integration and workflow efficiencies to enhance and optimize patient experience.  
  • The Director of Cancer and Infusion will strategically plan and manage multi-year budgets and will focus on cost management efforts including improved practice performance, supply management, and staffing expenses. 
  • Oversees staff management aspects including coaching, educational development, and will serve as a mentor for members of the oncology staff while displaying compassion, accountability, and fairness. 
  • Ideal candidates will bring extensive Oncology service line growth and development. 
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
