System-Wide Opportunity to be the new Vice President of Laboratory Services.

The Position

• The Vice President of Laboratory Services is responsible for the collaborative development and implementation of the operating plans across multiple sites.
• This position works closely with the Chief of Pathology, Director of Anatomic Pathology, Director of Clinical pathology, and Senior Vice President Lifespan Clinical Service Lines to develop strategy and goals for the Service.
• Focus on managing the cost quality and service, as well as long term strategic initiatives while developing annual and ongoing operational capital and business plans.
• Oversees the centralized laboratory operations at each location as well as the outreach laboratory services which includes over 50 patient service centers.
• The Vice President provides a work environment that promotes team development and professional growth for associates.
• Seeking a professional, strategic leader with excellent communication and listening skills who has the ability to be flexible within the role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; masters preferred.
• At least ten years of experience managing complex laboratory services and administration preferably in an academic medical center multi-hospital and outpatient.
