The Position
  • The Director of Critical Care is responsible for three critical care units including a 20-bed Medical ICU, 11-bed Neurotrauma ICU and 11-bed ICU
  • The Director of Critical Care plays a primary role in the growth and development of the critical care service line, particularly in coordination with Parkview’s flourishing cardiac program
  • Deliver high quality care, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, handle department budgeting and strengthen employee engagement 
  • The Director supports clinical staff through rounds and shared understanding concerning the demands of a busy ICU
  • Create valuable relationships with physicians, senior leadership and staff, working together to establish a competitive heart program and continue progression in neuro trauma services
  • Candidate must possess or be in progress to earn MSN
