The Position

  • The Senior Director of Maternal Child Health is responsible for leading 275 FTE’s that deliver safe patient care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for six departments including NICU, Pediatrics, OB Triage, Labor and Delivery, Special Care and Mother/baby at Reading Hospital’s Beginnings Maternity Center, which houses the region's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
  • Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall clinical nursing practice and administrative activities, including fiscal, material, and human resource management. 
  • Participates in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures while maintaining open communication with all staff and physicians to promote performance improvement and consistency of care across the continuum.
  • Seeking an innovative, collaborative leader that has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with five years of Maternal Child Health experience as well as knowledge of Physician Residency Programs. 
  • MSN, RN required with ANCC certification.
