Chief Transformation Officer
Catholic Health Services is seeking a Chief Transformation Officer to serve as the key advisor on clinical and business transformation for the health system. This represents an opportunity to join one of Long Island’s finest health care providers known for delivering a quality patient experience that stands apart from other health care systems.
The position will take a leading role in the direction of all ambulatory centers, clinical service lines, development of population health initiatives, advanced primary care practices, shared risk relationships and business planning for the health system. The CTO will work to position the health system for success by ensuring the execution of strategic clinical and business development initiatives through effective analysis, planning and the identification of new business opportunities.
Catholic Health is an integrated system encompassing some of the region’s finest health and human services agencies. The health system has nearly 17,000 employees, six acute care hospitals, three nursing homes, a home health service, hospice and a network of physician practices. Rockville Centre is located along Long Island’s south shore with many community amenities for families. With great options for indoors and outdoors recreation, shopping and dining. Commonly abbreviated as RVC, it’s an incorporated village located in the town of Hempstead in Nassau County.
- Advanced Degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field is required. A medical degree is desirable but not required depending on experience.
- Ten plus years of planning and business development experience at a senior level in a complex healthcare organization is required.
- Strong cross-functional background in a variety of clinical and business responsibilities including clinical service lines, population health, business development and managed care contracting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire others and build consensus towards a shared vision.
