Chief Nursing Officer
Under the general direction of the CEO, the Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the development and maintenance of nursing service objectives, standards, and practice as they relate to Patient Care.
In addition, this position is responsible for the planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, budgeting, and management of facilities people, supplies, and equipment in a way that meaningful nursing service is established to render the optimum patient care. This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Minidoka Memorial Hospital
Minidoka Memorial Hospital is the joint operation of Minidoka County’s only hospital and nursing home located in Rupert, Idaho. Services offered at Minidoka Memorial Hospital include surgery, inpatient and outpatient treatments, long-term care, home health, ambulance, and occupational health. The hospital employs over 250 people, making it one of the county’s larger employers.
The City of Rupert is the county seat of Minidoka County and its largest city. Rupert is strategically located 45 miles from Twin Falls, Idaho, 160 miles from Boise, Idaho and 180 miles from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Our ideal candidate will specifically possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current RN license in State of Idaho
- Current BLS
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
- Current ACLS and PALS
- 5 years’ experience as a nurse providing bedside care
- 5 years’ progressive management experience
