Summary

Serve as the Interim Ambulatory Care Operations Manager for a California Medical Center!


The Position

  • The Ambulatory Care Operations Manager oversees the daily pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality patient care is provided in compliance with regulations, hospital policies and practices.
  • Involves all aspects of the medication use process, including procurement, prescribing, compounding, dispensing, storage of medications, administration and monitoring.
  • Partners with physicians and other clinicians to provide treatments and advice to patients, records patient history relating to medication use and ensures the safe and secure storage of medications and related supplies. 
  • 3+ years of progressive pharmacy management experience required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy Required; Pharm D degree preferred. 
  • Registered Pharmacist in the state of California required. 
  • Must be available to start within 2 weeks upon acceptance.
