The Position

• The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for the 24-hour functioning and overall quality of patient care within the 30-bed emergency services, while directing the development and evaluation of nursing staff and departmental associates for White County Medical Center.  
• The Director will demonstrate proficiency with the nursing documentation system and exhibit working knowledge of the computer system.
• This position will be responsible for effectively coaching and mentoring the nursing staff, while focusing on the development of a mentorship program, as well as an education program. 
• This leader will work closely with and collaborate with the department physicians and staff to rebuild the emergency department, while helping drive volume. 
• The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience with a background in metrics. Someone who can join the organization and build morale. 
• This role brings an opportunity to grow within the organization. 

Requirements

• RN license required. 
• Two to five years of clinical experience.
