The Position
- An Interim HIM Operations Manager is needed to lead non-clinical operations in Health Information Management (HIM) for a 295-bed acute care facility.
- The role reports directly to the Director and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer.
- Responsibilities include overseeing staff, managing schedules, and ensuring accurate birth certificate processing, all while maintaining strict compliance with policies and procedures. Additionally, the Interim HIM Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in onboarding and training new team members.
- The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, experienced leader who can seamlessly step in and take charge of operations.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management required.
- RHIA or RHIT certification required.
- Prior experience in HIM operations required.
