New executive opportunity for a transformational leader as Chief Operating Officer in Springfield, Missouri with Mercy Health System, one of the nation’s largest integrated health systems

The Position
  • The Chief Operating Officer will have the responsibility and delegated authority to develop and oversee implementation of strategy as well as oversee the operations of the Mercy Clinic Springfield – a market comprised of approximately 650 physicians
  • Develops and implements the strategic initiatives for Mercy Clinics Springfield to include Physician Operations and alignment, innovation and new product development, strategic capital investment and managed care strategies
  • Ensures the operations of Mercy Clinics Springfield Physicians are integrated with the Mission and Philosophy of the health system and are executed in accordance with the Dimensions of Excellence
  • Focuses on establishing credibility with providers and throughout the community, fostering teams and collaborative relationships and increasing physician engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Seven or more years’ experience in an executive level position within Physician Operations required
