The Position

  • The Chief Financial Officer is the operational executive lead for finance, accounting, HIM, payroll, revenue cycle, business office, controller and materials management for the hospital
  • The Chief Financial Officer will carry out organizational plans and direct finances related to hospital expansions, contracting, cost management, portfolio management and innovation
  • The Chief Financial Officer should be well-rounded, confident and demonstrate an ability to foster strong relationships at all organizational levels and in the Trinidad community
  • Seeking a leader to develop the finance team and support the organization’s rapid growth
  • Must be an experienced finance leader with 5-7 years of progressive responsibility in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in rural healthcare or a critical access hospital is necessary
  • Master’s degree required

  • Mt. San Rafael Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility serving the medical and surgical needs of Trinidad, Colorado residents and surrounding areas
  • The hospital is at the forefront of a multimillion dollar facility modernization plan, resulting in more than 40,000 square feet of newly renovated space including: a redesigned lobby, a state-of-the-art emergency department, a radiology/imaging center and a brand new patient care unit
