The Position
- The System Controller will oversee the comprehensive operations of the Accounting, Accounts Payable, Capital Asset, Tax Preparation, and Payroll departments for Tucson Medical Center and its affiliate locations.
- Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, this leader will oversee a team of six direct reports and 20 FTEs.
- This leader will spearhead efforts to fill department vacancies, expanding the team to align with the organization's growth. Additionally, they will play a key role in budget development and the close process.
- Ideal candidates should have a strong background in accounting and be adept at handling complex practices. They should also be energetic, enthusiastic leaders with a team-oriented attitude.
- This onsite position is based at the flagship hospital in Tucson, with expected travel to affiliate locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required, with a strong preference for an MBA or CPA certification.
- A minimum of eight years of accounting experience, including at least two years in a managerial or supervisory role, is required.
