Seeking a Strong Operational and Analytical Leader as the New Director of Finance at DCH Health System in Tuscaloosa, Alabama!

The Position

  • The Director of Finance will oversee finance, decision support, accounts payable, financial analysts, budget and accounting, reimbursement and payroll.
  • Responsible for directing elements of system financial management, overseeing monthly financial close processes, as well as the development of system operations and capital budgets. 
  • Collaborates with the Chief Financial Officer to develop long-term financial plans as it pertains to assessing cash flows and forecasting capital needs. 
  • Develops budget timelines and ensures milestones are met, while additionally providing departmental education and assistance as necessary.
  • The Director must adhere to DCH Behavioral Standards, perform compliance requirements, and ensure the maintenance of patient and employee satisfaction. 
  • Must bring 3+ years of supervisory in addition to 5+ years of accounting experience.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.

  • The Long-term Care Facility at Fayette Medical Center has received the highest possible overall rating of five stars in U.S. News & World Report’s sixth annual “Best Nursing Homes” ranking for 2014.
