The Position

• The Director of Nursing is responsible for the development and implementation of plans for providing nursing care, treatment, and necessary staffing to provide exceptional patient care within a 75-bed facility.
• Dually reporting to the Vice President of Inpatient Nursing and the Hospital Administrator, this leader will oversee a team of 20+ direct reports and approximately 200 FTEs.
• This leader will be expected to increase employee engagement, patient satisfaction and quality outcomes. Foster and build relationships at all levels while working towards strategic initiatives. 
• The ideal candidate will be a strong, visible leader, with a background in leading nursing operations. They must have strong business acumen, analysis, and strategic thinking skills. The ability to be a change agent, work well in a collaborative environment, and communicate effectively will be critical. 
• Must possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an inpatient hospital setting and 2 years’ recent experience in nursing management.
• MSN highly preferred; Active GA RN or multistate license required.
