Lead Clinical Operational Performance as Chief Medical Officer for a Regional Healthcare System in the Midwest

The CHI St. Alexius Chief Medical Officer serves as the single and most senior physician leader for all acute inpatient, hospital-based outpatient, and ambulatory-based employed physician and APC enterprises in Bismarck and Mandan. The position will serve as the medical leader for all St. Alexius Dyads. 

The CMO will provide medical management direction and oversight in order to protect, preserve, and improve the health of individuals and communities served. Key to this role will be fostering relationships among physicians and current providers, while establishing a positive work environment to maintain high patient and employee satisfaction. 

The ideal candidate must have a Doctor of Medicine and a minimum of five years’ experience in a Senior Executive Leadership role, a background working in a system with a matrixed environment, and a passion for change-management.
