One of New Jersey’s top hospitals is seeking an innovative OR Operations and Education Manager with Hackensack University Medical Center.

The Perioperative Operations and Education Manager will assume responsibility for the overall daily assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care on the Operating Room. Further, this leader will carry out HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley Hospital and Nursing Service mission, vision, values, and the overall, clinical management, patient care, cost effectiveness, and quality management of the Operating Room. 

The OR and Education Manager will promote the service standards and create a patient-focused caring environment while addressing and meeting the individual needs of the patient, as well as, foster an environment of collaboration and respect with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing 
• Bachelor's in Nursing Degree required 
• BCLS Certification required, ACLS Certification preferred
• Holds a current Professional Registered Nurse license in the State of New Jersey 
• Minimum of five years acute care Operating Room experience with progressive Charge and/or Supervisory responsibilities 
• Must have knowledge of concepts of educational needs assessment, planning, curriculum development, training implementation, and evaluation
