The Director of Cancer Care at Pearlman Cancer Center, part of South Georgia Medical Center (SGMC), provides service for the medical oncology clinic and infusion, the radiation oncology clinic and treatment, and the non-oncology infusion clinic.
This leader will lead the development and implementation of the strategic and operational plans for the service line, establish aggressive quality, service, and growth results, develop and review the annual budget, participate in various leadership initiatives throughout the organization, and facilitate human resource acquisition and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of progressive leadership experience required; master’s degree preferred.
- Background in Oncology Service Line leadership and development; well-developed clinical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required for this position.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, ACR, and ACOS standards.
