United Health Services (UHS), a family of community-driven health services organizations located throughout New York, is seeking multiple roles to solidify its Human Resource department: Human Senior Resources Business Partner and Director of Total Rewards. Read more about each position below.

Senior Human Resources Business Partner 

The HR Business Partner will fulfill this director-level position by aligning UHS Business Unit Leaders and their teams’ objectives in the execution and development of HR programs and initiatives for designated business units. 
This leader will have a firm understanding of their client group's strategic priorities, the business imperatives, and customer’s business. The ideal leader will assess and anticipate HR–related needs and proactively consult with clients, recommending HR strategic solutions to improve critical business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related firm is required.
  • MBA or master’s degree preferred. 
  • Insight of the organization and the markets in which it operates, and the ability to apply this knowledge in strategic thinking and decision-making required.

Director of Total Rewards

The Director Total Rewards role is an exceptional opportunity to provide leadership and operational management for the Total Rewards department for UHS Hospitals and other companies. The Director will be responsible for the design, implementation, and communication of a compelling total rewards strategy. They will ensure that all of UHS’s reward programs are competitive, sustainable, scalable, and have a positive impact on the short and long term performance of the organization. 

Reporting to the CHRO, this leader will translate HR strategy into meaningful total rewards initiatives, incorporating a systemic view across all HR disciplines and UHS business units. This will include managing the overall Total Reward COE team and partnering with other HR and system leaders to align reward strategies and services with a broader organizational goal.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Master’s degree and/or CCP, CBP, or CEBS certification is preferred.
  • More than 10 years of broad-based and progressive HR operations experience.
