Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center Retains B.E. Smith in Search for Director of Labor, Delivery, and OB Special Care

Solidify engagement and communication as Director of Labor, Delivery, & OB Special Care as for The Children’s Hospital at OU Medicine in Oklahoma City.

Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center is seeking a Director of Labor, Delivery, and OB Special Care to establish evidence-based practice for the facility. This role will be responsible for the overall direction of the department, with a focus on driving engagement to purpose.

Furthermore, the director will ensure the patient and family experience remains seamless throughout the department. The leader will also recommend, develop, and implement policies and procedures while collaborating with senior management and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Master’s-level education required; without a BSN, Master’s level of education must be a MSN.
  • Five years of experience in a healthcare facility, including experience in supervisory or senior management capacity. 
  • Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
