HealthQuest is Seeking a Chief Medical Information Officer with the Help of B.E. Smith

New executive leadership opportunity as Chief Medical Information Officer with HealthQuest in Lagrangeville, New York – located between Albany and New York City  

The Chief Medical Information Officer will collaborate with key physician leaders to standardize the vision of physician workflow, clinical content, and physician communication of the acute care services throughout the organization. This position has indirect supervisory responsibilities and will manage the staff accountable for developing the standardized vision, as well as assist in the implementation of physician and other clinical workflows related to clinical transformations, system implementations, and maintenance projects.

As a vital member of the IT Medical Executive Committee, the CMIO represents the needs and requirements of the physician community and serves as an advocate in promoting the use of information technology in the clinical setting. One of the key goals will be to establish collaborative relationships with Western Connecticut, along with optimizing the IT Medical Executive Committee by engaging members and revamping content, and developing an effective communication model with physicians. 

The ideal leader must have, at minimum, an MD/DO degree and at least one year of work experience in medical informatics.
