B.E. Smith successfully helped Rochelle Community Hospital in its search for a CEO to oversee operations of the critical-access hospital and bring value to the community.
Rochelle Community Hospital, which provides access to vital healthcare services for a rural area in Illinois, has recently found a new Chief Executive Officer who matches its passion for serving the community.
B.E. Smith presented Mike Dowdy, an executive leader with two decades of executive leadership and proven success in organizational development. His interests in working in smaller organizations while providing medical services in a more personal manner was a perfect fit for Rochelle’s needs.

Effective June 10, Mike will lead the organization’s strategic direction, develop strong relationships within the hospital and the community, and streamline operations. Having worked in healthcare organizations large and small, he is looking to provide an atmosphere that attracts the top professionals in their respective fields to a community comprised of good people.
