St. Luke’s University Hospital Looks to B.E. Smith to Find Network Director of Maternal and Pediatric Patient Services

New opportunity to optimize services and maximize efficiency as Network Director of Maternal & Pediatric Patient Services with St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

The Network Director of Maternal and Pediatric Patient Services will have the task of improving quality, patient satisfaction, and fiscal operations of inpatient departments such as Labor and Delivery, Post-Partum, Newborn Nursery, NICU, and Pediatric Services. This position will have oversight of multiple campuses – Bethlehem and Allentown – with Anderson Campus expected to join in January 2020. 

In coordination with patient care managers and other critical stakeholders, this role will maximize the overall performance of inpatient maternal and newborn services. The main goals include standardizing policies, procedures, and protocols across three sites, establishing a plan for integrating services, and fostering a collaborative and collegial environment

The ideal candidate must have a BSN and Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or Business Administration. An active Pennsylvania nursing license is required, as well as knowledge of data systems, regulatory agency standards, evidence-based medicine principles, and performance metrics.
