This position will provide day-to-day and long-term operational direction for the Clinical Laboratory, Pathology, and Nuclear Medicine departments. The Director will partner with department and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and department services, while organizing systems and operating procedures to optimize departmental effectiveness. The leader will also establish challenging but achievable expectations and standards, in addition to motivating staff and improving the functions of the department.

The ideal candidate must have a Master of Science or equivalent in a Clinical Laboratory field; be licensed by the State of California, Department of Health Services, Laboratory Field Services Office; and a minimum of five years of recent technical and management experience related to clinical laboratory science.
