After a search led by B.E. Smith, North Canyon Medical Center has named Chris Boyd as its new CNO to drive exceptional clinical quality, maintain a positive employee culture, and lead patient care operations.
Starting in her role July 8, Boyd has made positive strides in the department and throughout the organization. She brings a passion and dedication to nursing that helps her understand organizations from both an inside and outside perspective.
Tim Powers, North Canyon Medical Center CEO, was impressed with Boyd’s charisma and industry knowledge. He thought this was an opportunity for her to shine as a leader, and she has already done just that.
"Chris has a great group of nurses who are rallying around her leadership and care transition for our patients has never been better,” Powers said. “She has some unique ideas that would never have been brought to the table had we gone in another direction.”
