Oversee a high end lab as Director, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Services for one of Boston’s premiere academic medical centers, Tufts Medical Center

Tufts Medical Center, located in Boston, Massachusetts, is partnering with B.E. Smith Executive Search Services in the search of a Director, Pathology and Laboratory Services. Oversight for the Director includes Hematology, Blood Bank, HLA, Central Receiving, Lab Support, Cytogenetics, Chemistry, Biorepository, Histology, Cytology and Anatomic Pathology. This position has the opportunity to participate in executive planning centered on system integration, the expansion of laboratory services and collaboration with both the hospital and the physician's organization.

Tufts Medical Center is seeking an experienced leader with 5+ years' experience as a senior manager or director of a highly complex laboratory in an academic medical center. Credentials or experience as a Medical Technologist, clinical laboratory scientist, NCA, ASCP or other lab professional certification and a Bachelor's degree are required, a Master’s degree is preferred.
