The Position

  • The Director, Financial Reporting is responsible for oversight and planning related to the technical demands of Boston Children’s accounting department
  • The Director will lead process improvements, build team morale and culture, communicate trends to executive leaders, and leverage technical resources/systems (Kronos, Epic, Cerner, Stratta) to advance overall organizational goals
  • The Director, Financial Reporting reports up to the Senior Director of Financial Operations and will manage a team of ten
  • Seeking a well-rounded leader with experience and knowledge in varying areas of financial reporting including data analytics, GAAP, auditing, revenue capture and monthly close
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field required
  • Master’s and/or CPA highly preferred
  • Must have 8+ years of professional finance or accounting experience, including Director-level leadership and strong background in healthcare
