The Position

  • The Chief Network and Provider Experience Officer will be responsible for the overall physician network strategy and will consult internally and externally with stakeholders and providers across the network to continually implement business practices, technology, and strategies that optimize and enhance the provider experience.
  • This role will be responsible for deploying a re-imagined, optimized, seamless and welcoming provider onboarding experience, ensuring new and existing providers understand value-based care concepts, provider performance expectations and measurements, as well as available SWHR tools, resources and playbooks to support them in their SWHR journey.
  • Reporting to the organization’s Senior Executive Officer, this role will work closely with other Senior leaders and has a team of Vice Presidents overseeing Network Recruiting, Provider Performance, Quality Measurement and Clinical Excellence departments.  
  • This position will be expected to lead the development of strategy, infrastructure, and operations for all network functions to ensure an optimal experience for providers. Along with setting, managing, and executing strategic objectives for network growth, performance and compliance. Also responsible for leading the development of recruitment, recognition, and retention strategies to engage the provider network.
  • The ideal candidate will be a physician leader with strong analytical, organizational, and operational skills. They must be capable of thinking strategically, turning ideas into executable solutions.
  • Previous experience working with Medicare advantage on payer and provider side of healthcare, along with extensive knowledge and experience cultivating strong relationships with and solving challenges for network providers.
  • 10+years’ experience as practicing primary care physician in the field of Family Practice or Internal Medicine and five+ years’ physician leadership experience required.
  • Board Certified M.D. or D.O. with active, valid license to practice required.
