The Opportunity:


Centura Health is committed to building and sustaining effective and efficient Human Resource services to enable and enhance People strategies. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the Vice President Culture & Associate Experience is a key member of the Human Resources senior leadership team and is responsible for the strategic direction and operations to monitor, understand, address and enhance Centura Health’s culture, organizational development, leadership development and associates experience. This is an outstanding opportunity to step into a newly-created, progressive role with the region’s healthcare leader.

The Position:


This key role is responsible for building and maintaining effective programs that enable continuous improvement and enhancement of the overall culture, organizational development and experience. Responsible to ensure cultural alignment with People and Organizational strategies, this role manages Diversity & Inclusion strategies in partnership with Executive leadership, Leadership Development and Organizational Development. This role will work collaboratively with other aspects of Human Resources providing ongoing feedback and information to enable a strong and sustainable associate experience while also building strategies and tactics to address learning and development in a manner that enhances the overall associate experience while supporting the strategies of the Organization.


Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Ten years experience of effective process and change experience, or an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  • Significant experience and expertise in building effective strategy programs and initiatives in Organizational Development, Culture, Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership development, and associate development.
  • Strong capabilities in the use of KPIs to inform strategies and tactics to proactively address and enhance the overall experience within the organization.
  • Achievement and results orientation; able to translate vision/strategy into specific goals, tactics, action plans, and deliverables.
  • Strong influencing capability; able to skillfully educate and influence peers, colleagues, and vendors to promote and engage ideas and support effective initiatives. Superior leadership and managerial skills with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop others. Requires ability to build and lead teams, foster collaboration, and enhance team morale.
