The Position

  • Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Surgical Services will manage the strategic, financial, operational and clinical demands of the surgical service line, respiratory care and sleep services
  • The VP serves as a visible leader in and out of the OR, engaging positively with nursing staff, building relationships with physicians and maintaining high patient satisfaction
  • This leader should identify opportunities for improvement and implement needed changes, particularly related to block utilization, cost reduction, team engagement and overall efficiency
  • Requires Master’s degree; Registered Nurse preferred but not required
  • Must have at least ten years of progressive leadership/administration experience within surgical services
