The Position

  • The Director of Quality Performance Improvement serves as the champion of quality and performance improvement within HealthQuest Medical Practice, a 350+ provider medical group
  • Focus on continuous improvements in safety, efficiency, patient-centered care, equity and timeliness in delivering healthcare services
  • The Director is a highly visible leader who’ll work closely with physician leadership to influence change and identifies steps for improving key metric areas including quality, safety and patient satisfaction 
  • Oversee 8 direct reports and a mixed staff comprised of Practice Transformation personnel, data analysts, quality specialists, RNs, LPNs and Medical Assistants
  • The Director is responsible for program development, training and implementation related to quality management and performance improvement
  • Ideal candidate would have a strong background in health IT or clinical informatics with the ability to analyze, develop, implement and evaluate clinical information and communication systems to enhance patient outcomes, improve care and strengthen the clinician-patient relationship
  • Must have quality management and performance improvement experience in both inpatient (acute facility) and outpatient care (large physician practice, ambulatory, clinic) settings
  • Minimum RN BSN is required, MSN preferred. Will consider RN with Bachelor’s in Business or healthcare related fields
