Looking to make a leap into leadership Join Weeks Medical Center as their next Manager of Oncology Infusion Services 


The Position

  • The Manager of Oncology Infusion Services will be responsible and accountable for all day-to-day operations and managing all patient care and services within the Oncology Department. 
  • This role will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and will oversee a team of 6 FTEs consisting of clerical staff and nurses.
  • This position will be responsible for training new staff to the team, helping to identify avenues for professional growth and development, along with identifying and seeing quality improvement projects through. This leader will also be responsible for assisting in upgrading Meditech and will require coordination and training for the department. 
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical oncology background and previous experience as a leader. They must be able to differentiate between a critical vs. non-critical situation, work independently and confidently in various EHR programs and systems. 
  • Clear communicator able to manage expectations and workflow across our local site and with our affiliate DHMC Norris Cotton Cancer Center providers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. OCN certification preferred; proficient with insurance requirements, authorization process and managing financial framework on an oncology and infusion center.

  • Weeks Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access hospital with state-of-the-art technology offering medical, surgical, emergency and intensive care services along with a wide variety of outpatient services. They are apart of the larger North Country Healthcare (NHC) organization.
