Interim Director of Emergency Department Needed


The Position

  • An Interim Director of Emergency Department is needed to provide leadership and oversight to a 54-bed Emergency Department.
  • This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, overseeing two managers and 80 FTEs.
  • The Interim Director will focus on improving patient flow, stabilizing department culture, and preparing for the upcoming busy season.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of clinical experience and two years of progressive management experience in a busy ED.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required, Master's preferred.
  • Current RN license required.
  • Previous healthcare management experience required.

Pay Details

  • Pay Range: $165,000 - $170,000 annually.
  • Final pay rate is dependent upon experience, education, training, and location.
