The Position

• We are seeking an Interim Medical Executive Director to oversee medical and mental health services in a large mental health facility.
• This leader will report to the Chief Hospital Administrator.
• Responsibilities encompass stabilizing the department's workforce, forging robust partnerships with nursing personnel, and devising a strategic plan for medical staff development.
• Ideal candidates will demonstrate a positive professional demeanor, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of care. Experience with clinical quality metrics and process improvement strategies will be critical.
• Must be available to start within two to three weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O required.
• Licensured as a physician, with at least two years of professional experience.
• CMS participant and CARF certificate required.
