The Position
- The System Executive Director, Trauma and Burn will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the clinical program and various initiatives aimed at ensuring program accessibility, quality, safety, and outcomes across the WellStar Health System.
- This leader will demonstrate expertise in developing the Trauma and Burn services components within the health system, keeping senior leadership informed about service usage, and assisting in strategic and operational planning for all requirements.
- The System Executive Director will collaborate with various team members, including professional practice leaders within the service line, to support community outreach activities and integrate and optimize clinical quality and accreditation within the service line.
- The ideal candidate will provide guidance and direction in developing and implementing strategies to manage all service line initiatives, aligning them with the organization's culture, strategic business objectives, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
- The System Executive Director will have a demonstrated background in developing and building Trauma and Burn services within a system, fostering strong emotional intelligence in communication across all levels of leadership, and effectively partnering with clinicians and physicians.
Requirements
- Active nursing license and BLS certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Minimum 5-7 years of system program leadership).
- Advanced Master's degree required, MSN, MBA, or MHA.
