The Position

  • The Director, Emergency Services for Methodist South Hospital serves as the strategic and operational leadership, overseeing business affairs, finances, quality of care and overall improvements in the department
  • The Director, Emergency Services works with the Medical Director to address growth opportunities in patient experience and physician satisfaction 
  • This leader fosters a supportive culture through a commitment to mentorship, leadership development, accountability, and high expectations
  • The Director serves as a liaison for Emergency Services when representing Methodist North throughout the region
  • As a subject matter expert, the Director stays in tune with both daily operations and industry trends to deliver high-quality care and keep progressing the department forward
  • Requires BSN and previous leadership experience within Emergency Services; Magnet experience is a plus
