The Position

  • The Interim Manager of Perioperative Services will be responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of six ORs.
  • This role will report to the Interim Director of Perioperative Services and oversee a team of ~12 FTEs.
  • This leader will be asked to improve department turnover times, assist in supply chain needs, managing inventory and assessing process currently in place for process improvement. They will also be expected to increase team building initiatives and mentor new staff members of the department. Finally, this leader will be expected to instill a positive culture, helping to foster trust across the staff and supporting departments. 
  • The ideal candidate will have previous OR experience. Must be a strong and comfortable leader with confidence and credibility back by clinical skills. This leader must have high emotional intelligence, be capable of gaining trust quickly, and mentor/support new staff instilling good habits.  
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Experience with EPIC is a plus.
  • Must be available to start within two – three weeks of acceptance.
