Interim AVP of Ambulatory Services Needed a Healthcare System

The Position

  • An Interim AVP of Ambulatory Services is urgently required to stabilize and improve ambulatory service operations.
  • This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and oversee a dynamic team including directors and practice managers.
  • The interim leader will address significant challenges such as physician engagement, scheduling efficiencies, patient flow, and optimization of EPIC systems to ensure better revenue cycle management.
  • Seeking a decisive and experienced leader who can manage change effectively, ensuring high standards in patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.


  • Master’s degree in a related field required.
  • Must hold FACHE certification.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in managing ambulatory services is essential.

Pay Details

  • Pay Range: $195,000 -$210,000 annually.
  • Final pay rate is dependent upon experience, education, training, and location.
