The Position
- The Clinical Nurse Manager, OB-GYN Ambulatory Care Center will be responsible for managing the overall clinical operations pertaining to multiple women’s services throughout University Hospital’s OB-GYN clinic.
- Reporting to the Administrative Director and the Executive Director of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Nurse Manager will oversee a wide variety of services within the OB-GYN Care Center including OB oncology, fertility, OB-GYN, ultrasounds, and procedures while ensuring optimal achievement pertaining to provider performance, clinic patient throughput, and clinical services.
- The Clinical Nurse Manager will strive to provide stability pertaining to physician, advanced practice provider, and multidisciplinary team schedules by implementing collaboration initiatives within physician teams.
- Responsible for the development and evaluation of staff performance, quality and safety initiatives, procedure outcomes, and compliance regulations to ensure that both clinical and organizational goals initiatives are met.
- This leader will focus on staffing initiatives including hiring, education, training, and quality initiatives including the assurance that staff members and physicians are fully equipped to adhere to performance, clinical, and safety expectations.
- The Clinical Nurse Manager will manage and maintain clinical supply inventory and appropriate utilization of clinical resources by analyzing reports, identifying trends, approving cost allocations, and developing initiatives that support continuous process improvement.

- The Clinical Nurse Manager will collaborate with Financial Coordinators to develop and analyze performance, budgets, and reports to ensure that documentation, clinical orders and financial outcomes are within standard federal and organizational regulations.
- Candidates will ideally bring previous leadership experience within an OB-GYN related setting to ensure a thorough understanding of physician, patient, operational, and clinical services.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required; master’s degree is preferred.
- Healthcare experience within a related setting is required.
