Phelps Health, a community-focused organization, is seeking an innovative leader to join them as their new Director of Information Technology in beautiful Rolla, Missouri!
The Position
- The Director of Information Technology (IT) will oversee day-to-day IT Technical Support operations and will be responsible for driving implemented initiatives while ensuring a customer-focused and efficient deliverance of IT services throughout Phelps Health.
- The Director of IT will direct the strategic planning, design, acquisition, management, and implementation of organizational technology tools and will ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Overseeing approximately 15+ direct reports, the Director of IT must strive to create and maintain a positive work environment while providing adequate support to staff members to drive motivation, engagement, and productivity throughout the department.
- This leader will develop and manage departmental staffing, expense, budget, and compliance initiatives while implementing necessary improvements to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and readiness.
- The Director will collaborate closely with all IT leaders as well as other executive leadership teams throughout the organization to ensure efficient plans for patching, change control, OS migration, and necessary software. This includes identifying opportunities for ITSM/ITIL process improvements, analysis, and strategies.
- Seeking a forward-thinking leader who will display a high level of flexibility, creativity, and ingenuity while portraying an effective level of resourcefulness pertaining to departmental budgets, equipment, and implemented services throughout Phelps Health.
- The Director will manage technical support software, hardware refresh lifecycle, and will coordinate all ordering, receiving, and invoices as they pertain to the acquisition of new technology.
- Candidates will ideally bring an effective communication style, presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this leader must bring extensive knowledge pertaining to customer service, project management, and management of service level agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional and/or managerial experience within a related setting is required.
