Long Island’s top-ranked hospital, St. Francis Hospital, is looking for a physician executive to become its next President 

The Position
  • The President heads all strategic initiatives, operational improvements and executive business affairs to the benefit and success of St. Francis Hospital
  • The President plays an integral role in ensuring the growth of St. Francis’ medical service lines, engaging directly with highly-skilled and demanding physicians
  • Ideal candidate is a confident and visible leader with an innate skill for forming relationships, building trust and maintaining open lines of communication
  • St. Francis Hospital is part of the healthcare ministry of the Catholic church and is sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre. Candidates must be practicing Catholics
  • Prior CEO or executive operational (COO or VP of Ops) experience, preferably with a system, academic medical center or hospital with a competitive cardio program is necessary 
  • Leverage executive expertise to nurture the success of the nationally recognized cardiology program and connect with the St. Francis team and local community; must be licensed MD or DO, cardiologist preferred
