The Position

  • The Interim Director is responsible for the design, coordination, implementation and management of the Organization’s Performance Improvement (PI) and Patient Safety plans 
  • Identify opportunities for improved patient care and outcomes, while minimizing harm through the implementation of evidence-based practices
  • Provide leadership and expertise regarding the integration of quality, safety, service and efficiency strategies into the organization’s plans, policies, and daily processes
  • Must have 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in an acute care/hospital setting, with at least two years managing quality & performance improvement programs
  • Lean Six sigma background is ideal
  • Bachelor’s degree and certification in the discipline (ex: CPHQ, CPQPS, CQE, HCQM) is required
