The Position
  • The Surgical Services Director is responsible growth and development of the surgical service lines for two campuses, encompassing 16 total ORs and nine direct reports
  • The Director finds value in building relationships with staff and physicians to create a strong foundation and establish expectations
  • This leader drives results and efficiency in the department, implementing new ways to improve on time starts, turnover times, reduce waste and optimize resources
  • The Surgical Services Director is not only strategic, but also hands-on and willing to scrub in when needed
  • Goals include succession planning, regulatory preparation, volume growth and mentoring staff
  • BSN and significant experience as a Director-level surgical leader; Master’s degree preferred
