Make a global impact in this remote role as the Senior Clinical Program Manager for Health Screenings and Health Education with Special Olympics - an organization dedicated to inclusion and opportunity for people with intellectual disabilities that spans nearly 200 countries

The Position

  • The Senior Clinical Program Manager is responsible for the strategic development, standardization and operational improvement of Special Olympics health screenings and education, focusing on general medicine and prevention, wellness and public health nutrition services
  • The Senior Clinical Program Manager serves as a global leader and representative of Special Olympics, providing oversight to the assessments, training, care coordination and overall delivery of the health education programs, screenings, events and fundraisers
  • Directly supervise medical and dietician/nutrition consultants, including physicians, nurses and dieticians
  • Seeking a creative, innovative clinician to support the advancement of telehealth screening services and provide expert knowledge for best practices in collecting, analyzing, reporting and presenting this data for the purposes of research, public health and grant funding
  • THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE POSITION, offering the flexibility to work anywhere so long as the candidate can maintain East Coast/Eastern Standard Time working hours

  • Must be a clinician with professional licensed background in a relevant field (i.e. nutrition, public health, wellness, nursing or dietetics) plus Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred
  • Must demonstrate the abilities to create strategies, plan and execute programming, and deliver on target goals and metrics, preferably in a cross-cultural or international capacity
  • At least three years of experience in health program management with an emphasis in health outcomes, program operations or public health management
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to strengthen networks in a culturally diverse environment
  • Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities is ideal
  • Non-profit background is a plus
