Ensure the well-being and peace of mind for hundreds of patients and staff as the Interim Director of Safety and Security in Washington, D.C.


The Position

  • The Interim Director will improve plans to secure building access, address current flaws in procedures and drive team engagement
  • Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Interim Director will oversee roughly 70 FTEs, including a manager and Sergeant
  • Must have experience with planning, implementing and managing large-scale, organization-wide physical security systems
  • Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory standards
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; Master’s preferred
  • Must have security management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting

  • The client will also provide you with a rental car, as well as lodging that is clean, safe and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
