Summary

Interim Manager SACU/PACU Needed in Northeast Healthcare Facility


The Position

  • An Interim Manager is needed to lead the Surgical Ambulatory Care Unit (SACU) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
  • This role reports directly to the Director of Nursing and will manage a team of five direct reports.
  • The Interim Manager will assess clinical practice, standardize procedures, and unify the team around best practices. Key goals include addressing cultural issues within the team, managing change effectively, and engaging team members in process improvements.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous SACU/PACU experience, current ASPAN membership or certification, and preferably experience in an academic medical center or Level 1 trauma center. Strong clinical practice, conflict management skills, and collaboration are essential.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • BSN required; MSN preferred.
  • Active RN license required.
  • Previous healthcare experience required.
